What Hameem builds
The through-line is end-to-end: Hameem takes systems from the physical machine to the screen in someone’s hand, and owns every seam in between. What follows is not a menu of services — it is the set of muscles the company has actually built, each proven in shipped work.
Embedded and edge systems. Firmware for connected industrial devices: multi-target builds across chip generations, serial protocol work against real machines and their dialects, crash-safe on-device storage designed so that no power cut loses a record, over-the-air update systems with automatic rollback, and field provisioning that a technician can complete from a one-page checklist. Built for premises where the network fails routinely and the machine must not.
Cloud platforms. Multi-tenant platforms with strict tenancy isolation, event pipelines with end-to-end custody — every record acknowledged, retried, and reconciled rather than hoped about — device-twin state management for fleets, and architectures with deliberately clean seams, so storage, transport, and vendor services stay replaceable. Operated, not just built: live systems with real fleets reporting into them daily.
Native applications. Android and iOS applications built offline-first — the local store is the source of truth and the interface never blocks on a network — with live instrument data drawn honestly: a reading on screen means the device is reporting now. Desktop applications in Rust across macOS and Windows, down to the native Bluetooth and input layers of each operating system. Interfaces are platform-native by conviction: each surface looks like it belongs where it runs, while the underlying product stays one.
Instrument-to-software delivery. A specialised competence sitting between the physical and the digital: taking live readings from measurement instruments and delivering them into whatever software a business already runs — at the cursor, in the spreadsheet, in the browser form — with freshness guarantees that make a stale value structurally impossible.
Licensing and entitlement systems. Offline, cryptographically signed licensing bound to customer hardware: no accounts, no phone-home, delegated issuance so a product’s owner can run its own commercial life, tamper-resistant local state, and refusal messages written in plain language. Licensing treated as product design, not an afterthought bolted to a store.
Design languages and document engineering. Token-driven design systems generated from declared seeds — colour, typography, iconography — projected consistently across web, mobile, desktop, and print; and a typesetting pipeline that produces commercial documents (proposals, scopes, invoices) to the same standard as the products they accompany. The position behind both: brand is a system, and paperwork is engineering.
The discipline underneath. Verification against real hardware, screenshot-tested interfaces, documented decision trails, and specifications written so a future engineer — or a future machine — can rebuild the reasoning, not just the artefact. It is the least visible capability and the one that makes the others compound.
